The Mentone Hockey Club was set up north of 40 years prior as the Old Mentonians Hockey Club. Through a consolidation with the Mordialloc Women’s Hockey Club and the presentation of junior groups, the Club has become one of the stalwart clubs in the Southern Metropolitan district. Mentone Hockey Club flaunts 6 Women’s, 6 Men’s, 13 Junior and 9 Men’s and Womens Master’s groups, including Women’s Premier League, just as Men’s Vic League 1. The Mentone Hockey Club endeavors to accomplish a harmony between the cutthroat side of the game while establishing an agreeable donning climate for all required along. Mentone Hockey Club is a Premier League hockey club inside the Kingston City region, with 30+ groups providing food for all capacities and age gatherings.
Our groups range from our Hookin2Hockey Program presenting the game at Primary Schools, through Under 8’s, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18s in Juniors offering blended and young ladies just groups, through Open Age groups for people, to our 10 Masters groups for player 35 or more established , again Men and Womens groups advertised.
In 2016, our Senior Women’s groups play in the Premier League and Premier League Reserve rivalries our Senior Men’s groups challenge Vic League 1 and Vic League Reserves.
Our home ground is at the Keysborough Playing Fields of Mentone Grammar on Springvale Rd between Cheltenham Road and Gardenworld.
We field groups in Winter, Summer, Indoor and Social Competitions and advance a family air all through the Club. NO experience vital! Wellbeing Warning – Hockey can be habit-forming!
