St Mark‘s staff are committed to providing a top-quality program that challenges students. The curriculum is designed to help students engage in their learning through flexible groups. It also is focused on helping students with the supervision of the teacher to assess and monitor their own learning by reflection and self-evaluation.

Teachers are also involved in professional development of the highest quality and collaborate in order to create an environment that enable students to be a part of the change.

The entire learning space in our school were upgraded and modernized to create an environment that is cohesive beginning with the Foundation (Prep) through Year Six. The learning spaces are equipped with spaces that are ideal for collaborative, whole class small group and personal learning. We have a specifically designed resource centre that houses an inquiry and library space, a classroom, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) space where students can take part in coding and and arts and science, with cooking equipment, multi-media equipment and the seminar room.

The most popular subjects are Physical Education and performing Arts (incorporating dance, drama and music), Japanese Art, Inquiry/STEM, Technology and Coding (accredited eSmart school).

Students also have opportunities to be involved in various extracurricular activities like Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden, the coding club and choir, as well as the lunchtime activities club, games piano and ukulele lessons and after-school arts classes, lunchtime, as well as after-school dance and sport classes.
