Lighthouse Christian College

Lighthouse Christian College is a Christian co-educational private institution offering all levels of education , from kindergarten (3-year-old) through V.C.E. (Year 12).

The students of Lighthouse Christian College shares a shared vision of the Christian college is an extension to the Christian home by providing the highest quality education, based on a personal connection to Jesus Christ, the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and Biblical truth.

The College was established in the year 2000 by Lighthouse Christian Community Centre (an Assemblies of God church that is affiliated to Australia’s Australian Christian Churches). The college’s education program is available to members of all faiths and denominations, serving families of a variety from different ethnic groups.

This college has grown rapidly from humble beginnings in 1989, to now be an established and reputable educational institution. Keysborough campus Keysborough campus is located on the 4.5 acres Lighthouse Christian Community Centre property and is planned for an enrolment total of approximately 925 students. The College is also planning to create other campuses , in conjunction with local churches.

Lighthouse Christian College is affiliated to Christian Schools Australia (CSA) the Australia-wide association of Christian schools. It is committed to the continuing development of the Christian School movement. Lighthouse Christian College also is a part of both the Australian Association of Christian Schools (AACS) as well as the Association with Independent Schools of Victoria (ISV).

College has been accredited by Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) as well as the Victorian Department of Human Services. Lighthouse Christian College supports and promotes the principles and the practices of Australian democratic principles in accordance with Australian laws. Our staff members are competently trained and our teachers are certified by the Victorian Institute of Teachers. Our curriculum conforms to our curriculum guidelines as outlined by the Victorian C and ATAR. Additionally, our students who graduate can be admitted to universities via The Victorian ATAR program. Our lessons reflect national curriculum guidelines.
