Hayward Pool Products, based in Elizabeth, New Jersey USA, is the world’s largest manufacturer of residential swimming pools equipment. Established in 1925 by Irving M. Hayward, and later acquired by Oscar Davis in 1964, the controlling shareholder. Oscar Davis was the 2002 Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipient. He instilled the ethical principles and core values in the management of Hayward Pool Products. A family-owned business that is based on respect for its employees, customers, and suppliers. They believe simplicity and efficiency are essential requirements for a profitable and successful business, and that effective communication leads directly to operational excellence. This foundation has allowed Hayward to be the innovator for over 40 years.

Hayward offers a wide range of energy-efficient residential pool equipment. This includes pumps, filters and heaters as well as heat pumps, heat pumps and cleaners. There is also safety equipment such white goods like skimmers and main drains. Hayward’s keystone products include the Super Pump(r), the first thermoplastic pump in the world, the ProSeries(tm), filter, and the VariFlo(tm), valve. In 1997 Hayward introduced the ‘H’ Series Heater, which uses polymer headers, FileTile(tm), and was a breakthrough in heating design. TriStar(r), SwimClear ™, and the PoolVac(tm), all highly-respected pool equipment, are also on the top of the list.

Hayward has a strong sales organization that spans the US, Canada and Mexico. It also has over 3,000 Totally Hayward(tm), Dealer Partners. This allows Hayward to provide support to millions of pool owners who have used Hayward equipment. Hayward Meridian Inc (IMG), a subsidiary of Hayward Advantage distributors, also markets its products throughout Asia, Africa and Latin America. Clevaquip Pty Ltd, an Australian Hayward Advantage distributor, was a Hayward partner for over ten years. Hayward purchased a controlling stake in Clevaquip in 2011 to make it Hayward Pool Products Australia Pty Ltd. This was to better serve the growing needs and interests of the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Hayward Pool Products (Australia), is based in Melbourne, with additional branches in Sydney and Brisbane. Hayward Australia believes that stock shortages are detrimental to our business and our customers. We have four branches in Australia that allow us to keep a substantial amount of stock. This allows us to offer exceptional customer and technical support to our emerging Totally Hayward(tm), Dealer network.
