Chelsea is a bayside suburb of Melbourne, situated among Edithvale and Bonbeach.
The ocean side at Chelsea comprises of a straight and continuous stretch of shoreline, giving grand perspectives southwards to the Mornington Peninsula. A no drifting zone is announced at a 300 meter length of shoreline around nearby surf life saving club, making this region ideal for safe swimming in the protected sound waters. Somewhat further south is a short wharf which stretched out into the ocean. The foreshore along the ocean side comprises of low sand rises with gatherings of vivid washing confines arranged local seaside grasses ignoring the water.
The business focal point of Chelsea is fundamentally based along the Nepean Highway which runs corresponding to the coast. On the eastern side of the expressway is a rail line, local area structures and local locations. The western side of the parkway is for the most part fixed with shops, and behind them is a flimsy piece of lodging which borders the beach front foreshore.
Various parks and sporting offices can be found in Chelsea. Triumph Park ignores the ocean side, situated toward the finish of The Strand and has BBQ offices and a jungle gym. Just as lodging, it is home to part of the broad Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands framework which is notable for its productive bird life. A mobile and cycling track runs along the edge of the wetlands and there are raised review stages in two of the vehicle leaves found along Edithvale Road.
At Chelsea Heights are various business areas. There is a little nearby retail outlet situated on Thames Promenade, west of Wells Road. At the intersection of Wells Road and Springvale Road is a lodging mind boggling and inexpensive food outlets.
Chelsea Beach is 1.5 km long straight stretch of sand among Bonbeach and Edithvale. The ocean side is watched by the Chelsea Longbeach Life Saving Club.
Chelsea ocean side is arranged among Edithvale and Bonbeach and is a famous summer ocean side with great street access, just as stopping, cookout and park offices. The ocean side is alright for swimming and the water is shallow for a significant way out and afterward steadily develops.
There is wharf towards the south of the existence saving club which is beautiful for fishing. Anyway don’t bounce off the wharf since it very well may be perilous because of the shallow water underneath.
The ocean side is found 250 m west of the Chelsea Railway station which is on the Frankston line. There is a bustling shopping region close to the Nepean Highway.
Chelsea ocean side has a General Beach Hazard Rating of 3/10 (Least dangerous) and is watched.
There is tagged stopping in the Camp Street region and exceptionally restricted road stopping. It is tagged stopping 7 days seven days including public occasions. The base charge is $3.40, hourly rate is $3.40 and the entire day stopping is $12.30. Inhabitants of the City of Kingston can stop free of charge assuming that they show their Kingston Council Parking Permit which is accessible to all Kingston Council occupants. The ocean side is exceptionally near the Chelsea train station.
There is a great jungle gym at Victory Park with a beacon sitting above the ocean side. The region close to the jungle gym has a haven with two outdoor tables and BBQs, four unshaded tables, one more sanctuary with two tables, unshaded BBQs, more unshaded tables and latrines. Look at the wonderful mosaic of the weedy ocean mythical beast on the latrine divider.
A deck region between the ocean side and the jungle gym has three wonderful bended wooden seats to partake in the perspectives and sound of the waves, water tap and ocean side shower.
50m south of the jungle gym is the Chelsea Longbeach Life Saving Club which is situated toward the finish of The Strand. At the Life Saving Club is another ocean side shower to wash off all the undesirable sand.
There is a great long, sandy ocean side that extends away in the two ways. 100m toward the south is a little dock. Try not to bounce off the dock on the grounds that the water might be shallow.
South of the wharf there are around 18 ocean side cottages put off in the hills and the sandy ocean side proceeds with as far as possible south to Bonbeach ocean side.
